Leadership Essentials in the Era of Health Reform” will occur on Friday, Nov. 5, 8 a.m.-noon, at Coffman Memorial Union Theater.

George Halvorson, Kaiser Permanente's chairman and chief executive officer, will keynote the next School of Public Health Roundtable. Halvorson and others will discuss leadership in the health sector during times of change and economic challenges.

With more than 30 years of health care management experience, George Halvorson is uniquely positioned to discuss leadership skills that will be required as historic federal health reform legislation is implemented. His keynote address is titled “Health Reform:  Where Do We Go From Here?”

The University of Minnesota School of Public Health Roundtable series is a discussion-based educational forum covering current public health topics. Leaders in the field share their knowledge with community members, public health professionals, and University of Minnesota faculty and students.
